Christopher Coccia, Broker / Owner of Coccia Real Estate Group in East Hanover, NJ attended the Leading Real Estate Companies of the World annual convention on April 9-10^th 2010. The conference was held in Las Vegas and membership attendance was up over 60% from last year. The conference included workshops, seminars, speakers and intense training classes.

FHA commissioner, Dave Stevens attended the conference and spoke to a packed ballroom. He gave strong warnings that the first time as well as existing home buyer tax credits would not be continuing after the April 30^th deadline. He as well as several other speakers gave strong opinions on the direction they felt interest rates were headed and that direction was consistently up! Exact rates varied slightly but the over whelming majority placed rates somewhere between 5 5/8% and 6 ¼% by 3^rd quarter.

This conference stressed the importance of a successful Real Estate office being most effective when they work as a team.
